How often should I get a routine dental cleaning and exam?

The American Dental Association recommends you get a routine dental cleaning and exam every 6 months. However, if you have a history of periodontal disease or health issues such a diabetes or heart disease you should get your teeth cleaned more often.

What is the recommended age a child should begin seeing a dentist?

Your child should see a dentist no later than his/her first birthday in order to prevent dental problems in the future and to discuss proper care of your child’s teeth.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

When you arrive to your first appointment make sure you have the most recent copy of your insurance card and a valid photo I.D. Also, if you have had any recent mouth imaging or x-rays please bring a copy with you to your appointment or fax a copy to 334.712.0050. We work with most insurance plans. We are a Blue Cross preferred provider, Cigna network provider, Delta Premier provider, Guardian Network provider, Southland network provider and United Health Care provider.
